Default So I got stuck..

This is just a bit of a teaser. Micheal (230) has a couple of pics on his phone, I'll post up some pics later when I get home from work.

Soft, wet grass and an overloaded Ranger don't mix. I wandered around back in the truck (loaded high with old steel pallets) and the utility trailer (loaded with dishwashers and laundry machines) and promptly buried it. I tried easing it out in 4 low but it just spun so I shut 'er down and went and got the winch out of the shop. Ooops. Of course the landlord had to come out and laugh at me, oh well. So I spent the better part of the afternoon unhooking the trailer, gently winching the Ranger off the fence posts until I got onto solid ground, then had to retrieve the trailer with the quad. I think I got stuck around 11:00 am and I had everything hooked up again and the grass stomped back down by 2:30 pm. Thankfully it didn't make too much of a mess because I didn't get on the throttle at all. I hate doing spring cleanup... Cheers until later. LR

*Afterthought: I think that makes 3 vehicles stuck out there now in 2 years, including a diesel 4x4 pickup and a John Deere tractor... Its a low depression and soft clay. Trucks don't mix well with it.

Wow, there must still be a glitch on this site cause I tried posting this, it kept going to "database error" so I gave up and posted on bc4x4. http://bb.bc4x4.com/showthread.php?t=151290

Weird. LR
