We had an incredible time with amazing views. Whipsaw is a very well maintained trail and did our part to clean up as much garbage as possible in the firepits and on trail.
Moving time on trail was 6hrs. We spent two hours looking for the actual trail head! We got a pretty late start air'd down at the entrance off the highway at 12:PM and got lost for 2 hours to find the trail head. Found the trail head and drove to the big lake and arrived just before 5PM. The Memorial rock was really nice, I wonder how many women have driven it first try? I changed a steering boot, we cooked up a big feast, hung out and decided to keep moving. Kept on the trail up through Falcon Hill and some more up downs, left, rights to an clearing where we camped till morning. Late breakfast feast and we were out meeting up with the Land Rover club as they were busy building a new bridge for ATV's. Really nice people... Loved the Defender 110 from Singapore. We found the exit to the trail not too much longer after that and were on gravel for quite while after. Overall excellent trip, everyone drove really smoothly and respectfully. Even deer couldn't even hear us coming up the trail. CT4WD carries the motto "be a trail ninja!" We can't wait to go back again as it was truly spectacular and lots to experience.
