    Default Tent Trailer

So we added a tent trailer to the herd of vehicles. It feels a bit backwards going from a full size camper to a tent trailer, but we just can't get the truck and camper in most places we want to go.

It's already been altered from these photos (trailer has been switched out for something lighter)
It's in great shape but there are a few changes I/we want to do.

    1. rotate the table/chairs to make a larger bed on one side
    2. paint the wood and new flooring
    3. eventually redo the canvas - perhaps only keep one side as a bed and have the other side just drop straight down? It requires some brainstorming.
    4. recover the cushions and maybe add some memory foam
    5. add a furnace we have from an old camper
    6. figure out the storage in this thing - only permanent things allowed ie.bedding, cooking stuff etc

So does anyone know a canvas supplier in bc?

apparently I should be looking for 'duck canvas'??
I think I'll go with sunbrella for the inside, I need to be able to wipe the cushions clean pretty easily..
I think I need some bug spray though, apparently huge giant spiders have taken up residence.. bleh

managed to find a marine supply place that sells sunbrella fabric
46" width by the yard....$24.95, by the metre $27.45
60" width by the yard... $34.95, by the metre $38.45

now I just need to figure out how much I need and how to sew it
still need to find a uv thread and screening and zippers

Well, found another place that sells canvas, and also a place in east vancouver that apparently does tent trailer canvas.. waiting for a response from them as to price.
Also, I picked up some awesome fabric for redoing the cusions. Just have to figure out of I can add an inch or two to the cusions..

we also did a bit of work on the big camper, replacing the o rings as the jacks were leaking and cleaning the jacks up in general

    pure grime

    nice next to gross

here's all four.. two were bad, they actually had water come out of the the chamber

well, half the cushions are done, floor is down, base paint is down
now it needs new dinette seats (moving to make a queen size bed on one side)
and this means a new table

also, todd added some supports that also make up a boat rack (those handy brackets were already there!) these will have a plate attached to the bottom and then a 2x4 to sit on top to support the boat. He was going to weld something on the top but then if the ground is uneven we can't change the height of the supports.
