    Default Gaxaxy Note 8 tablet??

What can be done with a Galaxy note 8 tablet as far as mapping and navigation?

    Google earth?
    GPS?

I'm liking the idea of the nice big screen...

i have a galaxie tab 8A and I use Osmand+ (we do have a guy that is working on a data for quebec's back road system with governement update) and other maps.

OSmand+ can work woth city maps and topo maps that are available dirctly in the app for pretty much the entire world. Are they up-to date, probably note, but they are free and you can do mapping and navigation with it. Can do many other maps as well. I even have a new-York city maps and can use nav-me for us travel, no cell service requiered with gps enable.

It as become my gps and map data storage device, with an otterbox case and ram mount x-grip for jeep and dd. Just love it.

Gaia GPS same with any phone or tablet, just with a much nicer screen on the Note 8. Plus the stylus makes it a lot easier to plot and plan!

Canada Topo works great on our phones and Samsung Tab S tablets.
It uses the same Topo maps you buy in printed form. You can plot and make new routes or load and follow someone else's trail route. Needs no cell connection once you have the maps loaded.

You can get it for free at the play store.
