Default Thanksgiving weekend - BC open invite

Going to be gathering a few trucks together for a multi-day run in the BC interior.

Happy to have others join in! The dates are Oct 7-9 on the Thanksgiving long weekend.

The group will most likely be made up of people who haven't met up before. This will be family friendly as well. We are loosely planning to do Cabin Lake for a night and Cornwall Hills area, maybe Deadman Valley too. The only requirements are to have a a reliable 4x4 with a spare tire and basic recovery gear.

The trip will be documented on our site www.xpedbc.com

If you're interested post up here or pm me!

I think I have a picture of my buddies chevy chevette in at Cabin Lake around here somewhere (film)

We made it in there with a '91 Chev S10 (2wd)and the Chevette (circa 1992)
He rolled a rock up out of a hole that lifted both back wheels off the ground....

Ok, a bit of water has washed down that road since then as well....

Use your head and you'll do fine.... (ok, the group trip may not be the time to try for other reasons, but if all I had was a golf, I'd at least give it a try....)

I've got the lifted Vanagon also but it's all shined up for sale in the garage. Lift should be here next week and I'm just trying to decide between 205/75 Grabbers or 215/75 BFG KO2s lol
