Default Gang Ranch - Jesmond - The BC you don't know unless you live here!

Here is my latest published trip report - a multi-day solo excursion to the Gang Ranch area which I did last November. This isn't your typical BC scenery but it is absolutely beautiful and unique.

Heh yeah the sand dune was unexpected. There were a few down there but the water level was pretty low in November so I would expect it's not there year-round. Wjustin I think you are one of the few that get out there more often than we do!

Haha yeah we try and get out as often as we can. Going to start bringing our oldest son soon (soon to be 3) . He loves "off-roading" as he calls it. I just noticed that, that sand dune was on the river. I was thinking of the one up on the hill that you have to hike into. Worth a trip to check it out.

Yup, those dunes are just above Farwell canyon bridge on the north side not near the water, up on the hill and are definitely a neat dune with a great view and a nice little hike to get to them.

Yes if the water level is low! Although technically I believe it would be illegal under the Fisheries Act or something similar
