    Nothing beats a waffle made on the propane stove in the camper.....







    Betcha never would have thought you'd be flamed over a waffle iron when you started this thread....

    Looks like a nice trip! I have found that this year everything is greener and lusher than previous years, Manitoba has a ton of lakes!!

    Is that fifth pic Good Sprit lake? Looks like the PP CG there, Drumheller too?? Oh, keep us guessing there.......

    ^ lol. Not trying to be coy, rather, mindful that some don't like locations disclosed - went thru this whole thing on here before ... not that we really go anywhere far from public realm but whatever, not here to cause discomfort ...

    Anyhoo, pic 6 was Good Spirit (maybe you meant?) posted as a nod and also 'cause I thought it neat the beach was groomed field-like. Pic 5 was over the Souris River, not the famous swing bridge in MB but found along a pleasant valley road starting east of Estevan, one province over. Like you said, stay off the #1 if you want to see anything. And as the tourist info lady in Maple Creek said, "yes, of course the country around the highway is flat and monotone - that's why they built the road there !"
