    Default New build

Bought this m101 recently from a fellow forum member. Picking it up soon and will begin a budget build on it over the summer.

The not so budget part of the build will be a tent of some sort. Lots of time to decide but so far I have digging the idea of a

Purchased a Timbren axleless setup. 3500 lbs with a 4 inch lift.

Acquired a Lock and Roll hitch setup.

Did an insane amount of research on all the products available and came up with these two as being the best for my needs,

Dropped the trailer off at my fabricators last night, things are about to get exciting for me

Grabbed a set of 32/33 inch bfg mt's for the trailer.

Still debating what sort of tent to use. My budget is pretty much spent....so looking at Kijiji and whatnot for a cheap second hand solution. Kicking myself for selling my rtt last year.

How much $$ for that Timbren axleless set up? Kind of tacky for asking, but I've got a Toyota land cruiser pick up box I'd like to make into
a trip trailer. So I'm looking at 6 bolt but havent' seen anyone north of the 49th get this set up. Curious as to why a high lift? Usually, trailers
just bounce along behind, and lower reduces tendency to move around and tip over. Nice trailer though, curious to see how it works out.

I'm a fan of Maggiolina Extreme RTT, that's what I have. But I travel solo, so smaller is better for me.

I ordered direct from timbren. Their call center staff are very knowledgeable about trailers and suspension

I also ordered from the US, from etrailer. I ordered hubs along with the suspension. Prices are on their website.

Why the lift? Maximum ground clearance, I want peace of mind while offroading with it. If gravel roads were the extent of travel I wouldn't have got the lift.

Nice rtt, not in my budget sadly
