Thread: Where is their some sand to play in here in B.C.

    Default Where is their some sand to play in here in B.C.

    Want to go play in a sandbox but where do I find one I heard ashcroft did have some sand dunes but its all private land or no access no beaches that I know of in BC so were is one to go to play in the sand?

    Not sure of any real dunes you can drive on.... there are some select spots along the fraser river near Big Bar, however that would be at low tide and they are really small. There are some in the Carcross Desert, YT however a drive to Oregon would be muuuuuch closer

    Do NOT drive through the desert in Carcross. Go to Oregon.

    Seems the consensus is go Oregon I just may have to as I really would like to know how to play in the sand and test out if my Van is capable or not.
