Considering the diesel Canyons this year were tickling $50k I can't imagine that truck will be flying off the shelfs. GM is doing 20% off MSRP for 2016 model year inventory but even if that qualified it would still be really expensive for a mini-truck.

You need a ride because your chevy is broken?

Lol, there have been a slew of these posts across different forums, but a don't think there will be a huge market sway into a new platform..

As a Toyota die hard there is little chance my 2005 is ever going to give up, when it dies there will be another Taco behind it. We just got a fleet of Canyons at work- they are nice trucks, but no Tacoma.

I would like one. Doubt it is in the budget.

Looks nice and capable, and will probably be reasonably priced

Nope, I'm not a pick-up guy, tryed it before with a toy (hi-lux) and did not like it. Plus, it was not reliable.

Already had a jeep, toy was the dd, got rid of it for a Nissan and kept on chugging with the jeep that I kept for 20 years. Still as it, engin still going strong, but decided to get a newer and longer on. So went from YJ to LJ. Happy as can be.

But, think that this Pick-up is very nice, but also wonder if rear suspension will take the extra overlanding load.

Chevrolet put a bit of a teaser online:

And the official page is HERE.

Very nice and all, but I have a feeling it will be priced out of anything I could consider reasonable.

Nope. Sexy but not right for me. Good to see these nicely equipped midsize options, as the full sized ones are ridiculously large.
