Wish they had one for the ZJ.... very nice design... and simple looking to put together.
Well I came across a few more ideas, so it seams Jeep had a kit to put a winch on the front of it using the factory tow hook brackets. It was put together with SmittyBuilt which I believe is a reputable company. I had a look at my factory brakets and sure enough I see the extra holes there to use them for a winch mounting point. So when the time comes I think I'm going to use this idea but not use the factory bumper skin, I'll just build may own beefier skin.

I also came across this... pretty slick

I want one. That looks awesome! Very well done
Came across this rear bumper...very much like the design. Notice it uses the rear quarter protection, very slick looking. Their using the trailer bearing for a hinge and it seems like most people put it there, which I don't care for as it covers the reverse light, and I think that depending on the cop, it's just asking for a VI. The hinge design I have in mind will be pretty much be stealth and dual shear.

I'm getting excited about this...:headspin: I just need more time!!!!!
Another...not the same but similar. The last 2 pictures show some nice details.

Why not mount an auxilary reverse lamp on the tire carrier, or set into the bumper face?

Ensure that if you put new reverse light into your bumper, or above/blow it, that you pull the bulbs from your other ones and ONLY have them connected when the vehicle engages reverse. Law states only 2 reverse lights and cannot be engaged by any other switch other than engaging reverse gear.
Other than that... they're a great idea.

I think he means something like a hella driving light which I believe would be ilegal as a replacement due to being a completely type of light, lights like that need to be covered for street use, in which case you would still need your reverse lights.
I'm not sure if I'm going to add lights, I don't care for the look but realize they could be handy.

I've added a set of 55w tractor floodlights on the rear of my truck mounted on either side of my trailer hitch. Wired up so they only go on in reverse, but I haven't disconnected the factory lights. I don't remember reading anything about only being allowed 2 reverse lamps when I researched it...

Backup lamps
4.18 (1) A vehicle may be equipped with not more than 2 backup lamps, mounted on the rear of the vehicle, that are capable of displaying only white light to the rear of the vehicle.
(2) A backup lamp must illuminate only when the vehicle is in reverse gear.
[en. B.C. Reg. 476/98, s. 2.]

Keep in mind that flood lights will not qualify as back-up lamps... from what I understand.
