Here is a group of photos of my brother-in-law's brother's ATV from up in Westbank/Peachland area. A quote from my brother-in-law: "Its like driving a little tank. Goes anywhere.". And as you can see by one of the photos... it's more than knee high snow and this thing just floats across it!

Would be nice for snow wheeling with our trucks... oh the dreams eh! (I don't even wanna know how much!!)

Enjoy!

There's a cool video on youtube of an H1 on tracks wheeling in the snow. Think about how much THAT would cost !

That's pretty cool.

I guess the advantage to that over a snowmobile is you can drive it in the summer? Perhaps put the wheels back on?

My boss had that. He told me that it is great in snow but terrible during ice fishing season on the slushy lakes. It just gets locked up in the slush.

It'd eat up ball joints and CVs I imagine. Not to mention the fuel usage turning the tracks!

They do work well though. LR

I don't think that they would do all that much extra wear on CV's or harm the fuel consumption.

I think the tracks for the ATV's are about $3,500-$4,000

and for the big vehicles they are about $10,000 all in.... theres a few different brands out there now...

there is a reall cool vid of Ken Block on you tube with tracks on his rally car!!

Personally, with that kind of money into my quad, I would get a sled. and for that kind of money on my rig, I would rather get another rig.

hahahaha....Call me cheap, but that is too rich for my blood.
