It has Pro-Comp 35`Mudders on it. Re-geared with 5:29`s, a soft locker in ther rear, and Trailgear Sliders, and rear bumper. Has a 4`Pro Comp Suspension lift, and a 2`body lift. Does really well in the mud, and pretty good over the rocks. It does not have very much articulation as the suspension lift pretty much took up all the available travel.`

What do you guys think?

Cheers Sean.

nice truck Sean, I personally feel that your body panels have entirely too much metal in them and I would be happy to take them off your hands and replace them with some with less.

Nice looking rig set up well.

It has the 3L in it. A JDM Motor from Japan. Has a 5spd standard, and the odometer reads 464,000 + KM's. It seems good with the 5.29's. It will do about 110 km/hr in 5th at about 2700 rpm. And will crawl up almost anything in Low 4 without my foot on the gas.

Stickerboy

I think the front bumper is next on the list. I am thinking about doing the whipsaw trailrun this summer, and feel like I better make sure my rig is very reliable before I put more bumpers on it.

Squiggy.... step away from the body panels...... ;)

Kelly... It is bigger in person, my gf that took the pics like to stay far away from the truck when she is not inside it. ;)

Thanks for the comments guys.

Nice looking truck! Friend of mine has one almost the same but white and a 22re, 35's and the lift look good. He did not need the BL for his did you need it for yours?

Great way to make that truck flex more is put chevy leafs in the back, they move a lot! There is only so much you can do though to make up for those stiff front ends.

Didn't those things almost kill you? :D

Jeremy

What is a BL? I am not sure what you mean.

What kind of Chevy leafs are you talking about. That sounds like a reasonably cheap option to get some more flex out of it. The ass end of my truck is very STIFF!

BL = body lift

Shhhhhhh :P It was more the poor shock arrangement.

I got my springs out of a 94 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 they are a 63" long spring and ride so nice and flex like mad. You will need to move your spring perch forward about 11" in the front and about 1" out back. I have had a few issues as Axel said with sock set up as I went from 5 link to leafs and never really got my shock set up right. Now I am setting them up right and should not have any more problems, I also lowered it 3".

With your truck you can use the stock upper shock mounts and then just get a U bolt flip kit and weld on new shock mounts onto the axle.

I thin my rear end with the good shocks ended up costing me $400.

To clear 35's you might have to run a block though? Correct me if I'm wrong Jeremy. How well do the Chevy's carry a load?

To match my 6" front lift with the 3" SAS kit :confused:I needed a 3" block in the back, now that the front springs have settled I have taken the blocks out.

I would say for 35" tires you may need a 2" block, the chev springs are about a 3" lift with 7" shackles.

As for load they are great, I ran them with out an overload and now have the overload in. With out the over load it was fine with all our gear, the truck would maybe lower 1" fully loaded. The problem I was having was controlling the mass loaded with the shocks set the way I had them they were almost useless. I'm working on rectifying that problem now and hope to have it all sorted out this time.

The other option is to go with a full kit from Trail gear, all pro or other. Problems with those is they are set up for rock crawling.

If you want more info on what I have been doing with my truck and the suspension look in my thread on here.

Yah, that was my favorite shot of that truck. I have since sold that truck, and bought a 4runner.
