I miss that truck.... it was a very capable Jeep!

I actually wish I had just left it the way it was, with the 33's and steel rims. Amy's commute is so short it wouldn't have made a difference in fuel economy, and it looked so much better.

I know what you mean... sad... but maybe you can long arm it with 35's for the trail rig!!

33's, locker in the rear, winch on the front, and for all practical purposes you have a nearly unstoppable rig.

That's a perfect looking truck!!!! Looks very capable but not to big to still drive on the street.

Few more pics. Man I want to put bigger tires on again and go wheeling/camping! I love my diesel Superduty, but it's no fun offroad! Dave just got new tires (31" ProComp Extreme AT's) for his Toyota, so I'm thinking about putting his old 31x10.5" ProComp mud terrains on the Jeep...

I really like the look of that Jeep, are those 33x10.5's in those pictures?

Yes they are. Great tire size IMO, tall and skinny is perfect for Jeeps. Probably going to stick to 31 or 32's this time. 90% of the Jeep's use is commuting now, but I'd like better tires for camping trips, and doing some geocaching/wheeling on occasion.

That is one sexy Jeep! I have always loved the boxy look of the XJ. Not only that, with minimal lift and bigger tires they look great and function well too. That 4.0L in them are indestructible too. I had one in my WJ and it had almost 300,000 on it when I got rid of it. Ran like a top except for a few things like and alternator and a water pump I had to replace. Didn't burn oil or nothing.
