Hey everyone...
Finally launched the site and ready to sell... Kelly's World Famous Brownies in the form of a mix. Some of you have enjoyed some on a wheeling trip, and others maybe at our place etc... but if you've had them, you like them... or if you're Jared S, you'd go nuts over them!
Currently not offering shipping because it's insanely priced from Canada Post. $8 each tube... that's just nuts. But folks like Jared S may want to put a bundle of them together and pay for some shipping.
Currently have 2 pick up locations (Surrey & Abbotsford) and considering putting in a 3rd closer to Vancouver. For anyone living close to my place or cross paths with me regularly... just put something like: "Will pick up from Kelly" in the Special Instructions box when checking out. (Site accepts VISA, Mastercard & AMEX)
Come check out the site:

:D Cheers!
PS: Didn't put this in the Vendor area because it's not really related to Overlanding...

I guess its funnier in person, but I got a funny and recent brownie story! (mind if I share?)
The three of us were sitting around the house here a couple of months ago (3 bachelors in a rented house, you can only imagine the food situation eh!), all hungry but too lazy to do anything about it. All Mike and Joe heard was me rumaging in the kitchen, making a nuicance of myself and more noise than necessary, asking dumb pointless questions about what oil to use for cooking, ect. They were upstairs watching TV, and they're starting to get a little worried about now because quite frankly, kitchens and Matt DO NOT get along very well.. After a while I returned upstairs gloating about how much of a genius I was (and rubbing it in quite heavily actually) and poking them about solving the world's bachelor hunger problem singlehandedly, and other generally annoying sentiments about my geniusness.... Well, I had found a box of instant brownie mix in the pantry and found that we had only two eggs left, perfect cause that meant I could do up a double batter of brownies!! Awesome!! I mixed everything together and put them in the over to cook for 45 min........
Well, Joe eventually wandered downstairs because he's now getting pretty worried about what I'm destroying, and to his glee finds brownies cooking in the oven!! I'm now getting praised for this!! Then my bubble gets burst: "Hey Matt, why aren't those brownies rising??".......I forgot to put the two friggin' eggs in the batter!! I pulled them out of the fridge, then threw them back in before cracking them open and forgot about them, crap!! So I have now officially invented a new bachelor food (because they refused to throw it away, even if you did need a chisle to break it free of the pan) - brownie taffee!!! D'OH!!! LR

Looking for a Vancouver pick up location. If anyone knows a retail location (and knows the owner/manager) with lots of parking... a clean store that can house us for a couple of hours to pass out presold mixes. In exchange they get additional traffic in their store.
We're anticipating a spike in sales tomorrow (monday) after JRFM is plugging the brownie mix on the morning show.... so there should be lots of people in the Vanc/Rich/Bby area that don't want to go to Surrey to pick up their mix.
Thx!

Wow... busy busy week. We've been working like dogs putting the mixes together this week...about 1/2 way to being finished!! Had 4 of us working tonight and made approx 70 of the Coconut ones... wow... it's a lot of work, but we had some fun. (considering I was grumpy the first hour or so due to creative differences with my wife :D)
