Ok, here's a poor pair of new pics, taken with my little A540.

Updates shown: New crystal clear headlights, dual-pillar F350 towing mirrors (extendable), 55W halogen fog lights, and 100W spot lights. I'll get some pictures of the belly skid plate, and my air setup as that comes along.
Also removed the pinstriping decals, looks much cleaner now I think.

Thanks Kelly, it's coming along. Hoping to get new rubber this year. There is a winch cradle/bushbar on craigslist for $100 that I could easily make fit, and desperately want, but alas since I'm unemployed in 6 weeks, I gotta let it go. I might just end up making something at work before I leave. Which means I should get started on it asap eh?
Not sure if you've seen this or if it helps Mike....

I was thinking maybe a router would work ok. I really need to do something, these tires have so little bite in mud that it's crazy.

That's a good idea, you have one?

I think my dad has a router, probably have to look pretty hard to find a bit. Skilsaw would work too, just need to be careful about setting the depth of cut. Hoping to get working on this later this week. I REALLY need to improve the traction of these tires if I'm going to bring this beast on the trip and not get stuck.
I have bits you can borrow, I think their 1/4 inch shank.

Finally bought a camper! It's an early 70's Okanagan. Made in Penticton. One piece aluminum roof. No leaks or smells. Interior has had some updates. Stove, fridge, furnace.
Had it out last weekend and ended up on some pretty twisty Jeep trails before settling on a campsite. Aside from overall height, it doesn't seem to have much negative impact on the manueverability of the truck. Obviously I'm not looking for a serious 4wheeling rig here, but it does much better than the skeptics imagine...
