WTB: LEGAL/REGISTERED 12G shotgun

Looking for a used/half decent shotgun.

MUST BE LEGAL AND REGISTERED

(I don't even want to hear of anything that's not 100% legal.)

Pump/Semi-auto preferred. Not looking to spend a whole lot considering this'll be a bush/backpacking/predator-control firearm and will most likely not be babied.

As for a shotgun, pump is best for a starter gun, simple to clean and use. Go for a Remington 870 or Mossberg 500 or 535. Both of these are available in combo packs, with a short 18" or 20" cylinder-choked barrel, and a 28" barrel for clay pigeon shooting or hunting.

Also forgot to mention stay away from pistol grip shotguns. They look cool in the movies, but despite what some people claim, you can't aim them worth a damn compared to a proper full stock. Also, your wrist will likely hurt pretty bad, and you'll end up being scared of it and shooting with a flinch. There's a reason that police, SWAT, and military shotguns all have full stocks. They work best.
