Hello, I'm Mike,

I'm the resident gun-nut and firearms instructor.

I love hunting, camping, fishing, hiking, chainsaws and knives, and diesel trucks. I listen to country and wear western boots. Deal with it.

I'm an industrial maintenance mechanic, 5th class Power Engineer, and Mechanical Engineering Technologist.

My truck is a '99 F250 SuperDuty 7.3L PSD 4x4. My goal with it is to build a rather capable gear hauler for hunting and camping trips, that is still comfortable for long stretches of highway and daily driver duty...

I went on a moose hunting trip to Bell II last year, in a pair of SuperDuty's, and I got hooked on 1 ton diesels. Not nearly as trail worthy as the XJ, but hopefully at some point I'll be able to get a quad, or a Samurai to tow behind the truck.

The mud flaps have since been removed, and the front bumber has been swapped back to the factory bumper. It looks like hell, as I can't find the plastic corner trim pieces...
