Found these locally at Steveston Marine in Kits. They don't have a great selection but they can get whatever you want. Price's were good too. I've been using them for a couple years now and really like them.
Has anyone seen them for sale anywhere else in the area.

Very cool.. I'll check the marine store here in Langley. I need to mount my extinguisher in my Jeep, I'm tired of it bouncing around inside.

those come in many sizes. great for anything from fishing rods to shovel and even fire extinguishers or larger. got mine off ebay, fast shipping and cheap. of course if you can get em local great. you will be surprised at the weight holding ratings they have.

I got them from the sutton guy on E-bay too, got a hug box of assorted ones for $100 with free shipping, maybe 30 in total.
If you watch his listings there are some great sales from time to time..
Their priced better than I thought, can't get much for 5-10 bucks these days.

I was at Cabelas yesterday and looked for these there but they did not have any. I am going to check out the marine store in Langley some time soon and get a few.

Bump
Bought a few of these off ebay last year and they are flawless. I definitely recommend
This is how I have them attached to the roof rack, no rattling or worries.

I've used these things for years. My old truck had a shovel permanently mounted to the inside of the bed with these. Had it there for years with no problems.
Cheap and good.
I get mine from sutton via ebay.
I just bought a bunch more for the boat, to mount emergency paddles and also for rod storage.
Never tried the big ones for extinguishers, as I prefer metal brackets.
I think I saw them at West Marine last time I was there too.

This guy in Chilliwack sells them, had them on my old truck.
