So a few of us made some plans way back when and decided to head out for the Easter weekend. Our original destination was to be the famous "Bible Camp" near Sechelt, BC... but due to snow and a few hours of trying we decided that 2-3 feet of snow was just not worth plowing another 8 hours through to make it there. Steve & Jeremy each had a set of snow chains and they were still having lots of trouble hanging up on diffs and other underside parts on their trucks. 3 trucks followed our tracks in and ended up turning around also.
After lunch on Friday, we turned back from the snow and headed through Sechelt and figured we may end up trying Piper Point as we've heard stuff about that trail also. We met up with one of the local wheelers named Seth (I believe that was his name) in a well equipped Jeep Rubicon and he offered to take us to Piper Point. Well, he schooled us old folks with his Jeep... and likely had quite an amusing time watching us work our way through the trail out to the beach. Thanks Seth for the guidance!!
We found a great place to set up camp at the water... after a bit of discussion to ensure we wouldn't get flooded by the tide... and enjoyed the remainder of Friday, all of Saturday and Sunday morning relaxing in our Tarp/truck/tent town.
Sunday morning we took the easy way out and threw a few clay pigeons in a safe area, and then made it home 1 ferry earlier than planned.
We all had a great time... and are looking forward to the next trip out!!

These guys were great... apparently one of them lives on the water up there... but they beached their boat as the tide was heading out around lunch time to go bear hunting for about 1 hour to come back and find their boat on almost dry land!! Took about 5 hours of waiting and 2 quads to pull them into the water again...
