so besides any other mods i am doing this year which it think i am nearing the limit when it comes to the $$$. lights are the final step... i want to have enough lights to help me see since in previouse years i have found this a huge problem... you know when you think your good to pass and then you drop into some hole you cant see or something dumb like that.. i dont ave a lot of experience... :headspin: its all good fun anyways...

but! but i want to do is put some 110 watt lights on and i found some at a really good price... they might not be the best but they are about 20 bucks each... which i guess isnt bad.. what do you guys know about wiring these? how much strain am i putting on the battery? do i need a spare battery? im thinking about trying to run a relay to a switch in the truck so i can turn on and off from the dash... thinking 2 switches

one for the front lights and one for the back ones... what do you guys think?

i want to keep the cost down so that i can actually go onbe trips this summer... not just have a sick truck and no money to go anywhere

do you think between 4 lights in the front and 2 for the back would be anough.. i checked out a few et ups and i didnt see an abundance of lights.. thinking maybe im overshooting...

I have 2 Hella 500 Driving lights on the front and 2 Piaa fog lights (not hooked up) I also have 2 rear flood lights. I have all the lights run though relays 1 relay per set of lights I also have 3 switches one for each set. I do not think you need a dual battey setup for the lights you are going to run. You will need a good battey though and should have one at any rate. Maybe at the most a stronger Alternator.

good to know thats exactly what im looking to know... i never upgraded a light set up before and so i was worried aboutt he battery... i was considering a similar set up... but i dont really have much money for the name brand lights... would simple flood lights do the truck? the ones i found are 20 bucks each and are 110 watt..

what do you think? should be good to go right?
