Just an FYI.... Top Gear USA premiers tonight on History Channel.... 10pm pacific time.

This car is terrifying and exciting at the same time; It's like being aroused at gunpoint! :D

Good god I would love to crack 180 mph in a car. I've hit 165 mph in my bro's M3 roadster (and I won't say where lol), it had a bit more left in it but my passenger didn't like it anymore. I just love nothing more than abusing horsepower, Tanner and I would get along just perfectly fine. LR

I don't see how you could ever top the real top gears motorcycle trip or the 4 wheel drive trip as well. Those are Real overland adventures!

That being said I watched the Alaska 4 wheel special on top gear usa and The three of them together i couldn't stand. I like Tanner and the beard guy on their own but together the chemistry just isn't there.

No replacement for TopGear UK, cant bet those 3 for fun to watch. Wish I have BBC UK available.

The UK version is way better.

This USA version has some learning to do. It was a tad amusing but it just looked like a bunch of idiots abusing nice cars.

I'll give it another try....

Yup, same as your thoughts. Not even close, no chemistry and the helicopter chase was straight cheese:rant:

Nice cars though. My personal best is 150MPH in a 72 colt :D

Yeah, watched it a few times on the US History Channel. I don't think I ever watch a whole show. They're trying too much to be like the UK Top Gear and it doesn't work.

If you get a chance download the Top Gear Bolivia special. That is one cool overland adventure!

I just got Netflix and I have watched almost every episode so far. Love top gear UK.

My personal best is 182mph on 2 wheels. :) My CBR900RR Telephone poles look like picket fences. Fun.

Netflix has seasons 9,10,11 and 12 out of 16 and netflix seems to be missing some of the specials.

I have all the episodes downloaded except for the most recent few episodes and I was given the Top Gear Challenges collection for Christmas (Aussie dvd region though). If any one wants to copy them when I get back in town, let me know...
