Hi All. In the summer I work for the MoF as a fire warden out of the Fraser Fire Zone, so spend the summer driving the back roads. A pretty good gig, with a few exceptions. Feel free to say hello if you see us out there. We are pretty well equiped, to at least get you some assistance if you need it in an emergency....that does not mean that you have run out of beer!
I drive a 09 F150 SuperCrew 4x4....stock but running BFG's.
Take care

It is mine...the ministry does not provide us vehicles, just the radios and other equipment we need. They do pay us a reasonable mileage rate to put up with the wear and tear that happens....any damage so far has been my own stupid mistakes :(

other than tires, nothing. I went through the stock tires in about 1 week on the FSR's. Put BFG's on them, and they have lasted fairly well. Two seasons on them, about 55, 000 kms....hope to get one more on them, but not sure if they will make it through. Some chunks taken out of one or two of the tread area due some sharp shot rock on a few roads.
Thought about putting a lift kit in, but then might have to change the tires, and then the gearing and it goes on and on :)
Like it the way it is, for the moment.....
