Greetings, been lurking for some time. We're retired and selling our Class A because it prevents us from taking the roads we want to travel. Levelling kit and SUV tent are ordered for the '10 Eddie Bauer and skid plates will be next. Objective is to be able to do up to Moab trail rating 5. We are keeping the '98 TJ for where there might be carnage. In May, we do the west half of the Oregon Trail from South Pass and then this fall the east half from Independence while on our fourth cross-contintent trip. Planning the Continental Divide trip for next year. We average about 20K kms/yr long distance.

We did the Oregon coast last fall (again) but got chased to the interior by heavy rain. It was travelling over two narrow mountain passes in the Class A with dingy in tow that made our mind up to exchange the Class A for the X. Two lanes with no shoulders and holding up traffic wasn't any fun.
