Is that a full inner fender/flare?

Nice 4-Link!
I'd like to see more of this truck were did you find this pic?
I'm also looking at the frame of this newer body style and in this pic it doesn't appear to bend out wider at the firewall as my body style does. Is this the case.
If so then this newer style would SAS better as the front tires won't max out on the frame rail.
Inner fender is pretty smooth and clean... doesn't look factory.
I found that truck on www.buckstop.biz looking at their front bumpers... there is one other picture of the truck on there. I haven't paid too much attention to the front frame but I'll see what's different on this body style. I know on the rear I looked at swapping trailer hitches from my Tahoe but the new frame is like 3 inches wider.

I love this truck:

Sits too high , but I still love it. Really wish I has the cash to do a 4-link when I did my SAS.
About 4 1/2 years ago I was working with Will the owner of Off Road Direct on designing a 90% bolt on 4 link system for the OBS GMs. problem then was I had a HPD60 from a '80 something Ford with a 36" SPW. The SPW was creating a problem, then my Burb was stolen and written off, then the axle went missing an I lost contact with him.
Now I see he's perfected the system and it would work for my new '79 HPD60 with the 31.5" SPW:

The only problem i have is I've only seen 1 truck running this with 46" tires sitting way frickin too high, I mean the top of the 46" Michilens are flush with the underside of the rockers, and it looks like it's a pavement princess.
So, I've emailed him again tonight to see if he would like to test it on a real truck. We'll see what happens but I'm not holding my breath.
So Mat when you are ready to SAS we'll need to look into some good 4-link systems, or fab our own.
All so I was checking out my Ballistics Fabrication Catalog and they have weld on coil spring buckets for diffs, so maybe you can do the 14 bolt SF swap before you spend the coin on building that 10splode dif.

You're very right... that is food for thought. SAS is not in sight for this truck as I plan to get it close to done and start working on a mortgage. I do like the idea of coil buckets for a 14 SF but we will see what happens. I'm going to lift and get it ready for camping pretty quick. Won't waste money on the gears and rear locker yet just in case something comes up.
