My 92 Dodge

1992 Dodge Cummins, W250, 4x4, 5 speed, 4,10s, 286-75-16 Goodyear DuraTracs, rear winch is moving to the front on a custom steel bumper in the next week or so,

Raider topper will be coming off for a pop-up style truck camper;

Access door in the bed for the winch. I'll have to weld that up and fit a new piece when the winch is moved:

Mods are coming slowly, but regularly. New bumper in the front may mean a lift and larger tires to compensate for the size of the bumper.

I like the rear winch. Always had plans to put one on mine. Why not keep the rear winch and just put one on the front as well?

That was the original idea, but since I've decided to go with a truck camper, I have to move the winch anyway. So, it's easier just to swap it to the front. Maybe later, if I feel I need the versatility of a rear-mounted winch as well, I'll look into a bumper mount, or a different frame mount closer to the bumper.
