Where we wanna go? Hale creek comes to mind... but it's so typical West Harrison which everyone has probably done a million times.
Same with Chipmonk Creek... it's old hat, but a fun one.

Well I guess with the little ones, closer the better. I'm ok with Sunrise and Lookout maybe..... Should will be some snow up Lookout, nice area to have lunch.
EDIT: With out having our new hours at work I cant say 100% I can make it.
I discussed it with my wife and we both agreed that our youngest probably wouldn't enjoy it, otherwise we'd be in.

Amy and I may be in. I'll see if she wants to go. She might have more fun on this as we're just exploring rather than doing anything 'hardcore'.

Yeah I think it will be more exploring than anything, maybe go into Lookout lake the south way as I hear the north is all freshly logged. Maybe check out some of the side trails that we pass by and always wonder what is down there.
The only slight chalenge maybe Sunrise if there is still snow on V rock (unlikley).

Well figured I would give this a bump, who is still down for this? Mike you and Amy still coming?
I know Kelly has a bearing problem in the front of his truck and I have a rear end howl after last weekend. I hope to have mine sorted out Thursday night and ready to roll Sunday.
JaredC you and the GF going to make it?

I really hope I can make it... both my boys are very excited... but I need to sort my truck out as Jeremy mentioned. Hopefully I can get it figured out by the weekend...

I'm still a maybe. The tires on the Jeep aren't very aggressive (they're only a 235/75/R15 street style mud/snow) and my Ford is going to be too big if you guys end up wanting to explore side roads.

Nothing too serious, but enough that I don't want to take it into the bush at the moment. I found a coolant leak last weekend while camping up east harrison... I think it's the rad calling it quits. Other than that, the battery got free of the tie down and shuffled over into the alt belt pulley, so now there's a hole in the side of the battery and acid is leaking out :headspin:

Oh geez... everything comes in waves eh?
I think I'm not going to make it for sunday... but will see how this week goes. Have a loud bearing noise in the front... and a rubbing noise in the back. I think it's a unit bearing up front... and maybe an e-brake spring popped off in the rear.
If I can find time to, I'll get on it... but I've been catching up on exterior house/yard work this week already. Got the pressure washer working overtime today... at least the house looks better!!

I pulled my name of the list...unless some miracle happens, there is no way I'm gonna make it. Only have tomorrow left to work on the Jeep and I'm spending some quality time with the family this week... and saturday is booked solid with activities with the kids. So... I'm out. Sorry guys.
Was really looking forward to taking both the kids out on the day trip to see how the younger one would do... guess it'll have to wait for another trip.

Alright, sounds like this is a no-go. I think I'm just going to relax and stay home.
