OLC 360 Project

Hey guys, i had kind of a fun idea for the new year. anyone heard of the 365 project? its where you post one picture up every day of the year. ive done it before but had a bad habit of missing days. figured it would be kind of fun. start your own thread and post up a pic every day from new years to new years. anyone else intrested?

I started my 365 project Jan 1, 2010, and I'm still going till the end of this month.

haha thats awsome. yeah i use Flickr to. i liked it when it was simpler though. sat-net doesnt like all the flash it uses now

I had a bit of trouble when they introduced the "new Flickr".
It took about 4 weeks for them to get it to work.

The 365 Project can be stressful sometimes, we started with a big crowd but many of them gave up on it during the year.....I'm still in it, a few more days to go and I'm finished. It has been a lot of fun and it teaches you a lot about photography. You also meet a lot of new contacts during the year.

I think this sounds really interesting. I would like to give it a try, but I do worry I might not be able to do it all the time. Some thought for sure.

ive always been inspired by those that do the PAD (photo a day) collections. yep, every day, doesnt need to be a full on 'go for a trip to get that pic'. its more an excercise on finding something that catches your eye enough to photograph it. abstract, still life, kids..scenery..etc.

with the quality of todays cell phone cameras getting a decent snap shouldnt be too difficult...i really should see if i can commit enough to snap an interesting pic everyday. maybe ill start a 183 project...or a PEOD- pic every other day. LOL...my slacking really does get the better of me. does flikr have a good setup for a pic a day thing?

well i finnaly got mine up. i decided to do the cell phone thing. i have a flickr app on my phone where i can upload to a set in seconds. should be intresting. first pic of the year... is well a bit nerdy haha.

I have been going since the 1st. Taking the pics anyway, haven't uploaded yet. Better than nothing I guess.

yeah, i kind of have to do that. the net connection here is sketchy at best and one picture takes a long time to upload and usually fails the first few tries
