So the truck is getting new tires tomorrow. Downsizing to 35x12.5xR16 ProComp Extreme All-Terrains. Ordered them through Volco Tires on Bridgeport. With the exchange rate being what it is (and having a large cut in 1 tire) it didn't seem worth it to go to the States to get them.

Sport Trucks was trying to get me to buy those tires when I was shopping... but they were new and they wanted way too much for them. Didn't you have Procomps on the truck when you got it? Which ones were they?

So... now you bringing the big truck for Easter Weekend? Guess it's overheight for the ferry.... $$

I have been looking at these too, look like there be a good all round tire and still fairly aggressive.

How much are you getting them for each tire?

I had a set of ProComp Extreme Mud Terrains (33x12.5) on my truck for the Boston Bar trip. These are supposed to be a great all around tire, especially as I avoid mud as much as possible with this boat-anchor of a pickup.

I'm getting them for $315/tire. Not super cheap, but they have a 40,000 mile tread wear gaurantee. Going to try to swing a bit more of a deal for paying cash. Still not bringing my truck Easter weekend. With the overheight fee it would be too expensive, and I'm still trying to figure out which u-joint (or if it is a u-joint) is giving me a little bit of vibration. I'm not sure how my truck would do on the Bible Camp trail anyways. If I threw 2000 lb of gravel in my box I might get a little suspension flex, but it's really more of a gear mule and work truck than a trail buggy. :violin:

New tires are on! Holy crap they are soooooo much nicer to drive on than old worn out Swampers. They're smooth and quiet, and have seem like they'll have more than enough grip for the wheeling I do with this truck.

Nice... good to hear.

You gonna put up your Swampers for $50 or something on BC4x4 to recover a few pennies?

How are those tires treating you after few month in now?

I'm looking at the 35x12.5 15's for my truck as it will be my DD again soon.

I got a quote of $275 each X3 (buy 3 get one free deal) not bad.
